My wonderful Xbox360 went wrong again today, I got the 3 red rings of death (AGAIN!). So I tried the whack it on the side trick seen on YouTube, and it worked.
Well that's the last penny spent on the console, from now on I am saving for a PS3 and no hardware failures!
It's that rip off time of year again, only a matter of weeks has passed since the last swizz that was Valentine's Day. Now it's Mother's Day! Oh yes, people rushing to buy overpriced crappy cards to make some kind of effort to show their mother that they are important! Oh and don't the supermarkets and shops love it, of course now it's passed its up and over the trenches for the campaign that is Easter!
Don't get me wrong, as a non-Religous person I can't see what shoving your face full of overpriced chocolate that would cost less in a bar than it is shaped as an egg with an enormous vacuous space in the middle, but that is made up for by the completely over the top packaging!
After Easter of course there's a bit of a lull before Father's Day. We dont really celebrate days such as St.Georges Day anymore, because it offends the multi cultural society we live. Balls to that I say! I wouldn't instil my beliefs and ways into another country, and wouldn't be offended if they shut up shop because it was some religious holiday, so why should we?
If you ever suffer the 3 Red Rings of Death, checkout YouTube and you will see it is easily fixed by banging firmly on the left hand side of the case (assuming unit is upright). Rock on! Proves exactly that fault is with shabby soldering/dry joints on the original.
It's half term week, so I've done a few half days to spend some time with Emma. We went to the zoo on Monday, which is nothing that exciting (especially as I've been there 40 or more times!!). But in the Lemur walkabout bit I was speaking to the assistant, whilst holding Emma and she started snoring and pretending to fall asleep. I had to try my hardest not to laugh to be honest, what a saucy monkey! God knows what the bloke thought!
My car is still on schedule for next week, but interestingly my friends' cars have both been delayed, one till mid April, the other is now June! He is not best pleased about it.
Why is it that training material, online or offline multimedia, tends to be some poxy yank whining on and pronouncing words all Americanified on IT products? As soon as they start whining, I lose the will to live. They are so bloody enthusiastic about everything, any self respecting English man would not produce such festering cack.
Office life is non eventful, we lost Emma last week to another office, which was a shame because she was such a laugh. There is Steph and Laura to fill her spot, so that's cool too.
Tomorrow night I am off to my first ever Fujitsu evening function, a champagne reception to celebrate the closure of a project (which I can't disclose). Loads of people I know are going, so it should be a good one!

What's been happening? Well I have got a definite date for the old (well new) Mondeo, its gonna be at the dealers on the 23rd Feb 2008. Blinding!
I bought a CASIO LK-215AD portable keyboard, which is excellent. I plan to take some lessons and read the music if possible, time and money stop me at present!
Oh, no bloody response from poxy Nintendo, the shower of shite they are. Customer Service my arse! They can shove their stupid internet channel, i'd rather just switch the PC on now.
I'm 37 on Sunday, which is quite worrying as I am starting to feel quite old now. Still nothing I can do about is there!
