Wii D2PRO Fitting

Me and my mate fitted a D2PRO into my D2C Wii the other night, let's just say it was alot of soldering required on his part!

There were 17 wires to place, 9 of which were consecutive on a space of about 5mm.

Here are some pictures of other peoples finished articles just to give you some idea of the scale of the job.

Boomerang - Emma and Codie

The weather was terrible, but we went to Boomerang in Melksham with Emma and her best friend Codie.

It was absolutely packed because of the weather, it was lovely the day before as well! Still they both had a good time and were both sound asleep before we got back to Bristol.

160mph in a Ford Mondeo diesel... me thinks not!

IMG_5827

The Ice Age cometh at -99C, oh and anyone want to buy a second hand 3 week old Mondeo with 63382 miles on the clock!!! That requires a constant speed of 170+mph for 24 hours since the delivery date to reach that speedo reading in under 3 weeks!!

The car is booked into the Ford main dealer on Tuesday 2nd April, now I have the evidence :-)

Easter Egg Hunt - Day 2

As we had so many Easter Eggs this year we split the hunt over two days, yesterday the weather was crappy so I didn't take any photos. Today I managed to take some, even though it started to rain, here is the best one with Emma carrying one of her finds!!!

The Mondeo Is Finally Here

At long last the Mondeo arrived Wednesday 5th March, and so far I am very impressed! It is so quiet compared to the other one its untrue, full of gadgets galore, which is cool. People in the office reckon it's a bit "Pimp My Ride Up" on the old black glass front etc, but I don't think it looks that much like a drug dealers car! Anyhow here are some pictures for your perusal.

The Final Supper

My wonderful Xbox360 went wrong again today, I got the 3 red rings of death (AGAIN!). So I tried the whack it on the side trick seen on YouTube, and it worked.

Well that's the last penny spent on the console, from now on I am saving for a PS3 and no hardware failures!

Happy Mother's Day to all Mums

It's that rip off time of year again, only a matter of weeks has passed since the last swizz that was Valentine's Day. Now it's Mother's Day! Oh yes, people rushing to buy overpriced crappy cards to make some kind of effort to show their mother that they are important! Oh and don't the supermarkets and shops love it, of course now it's passed its up and over the trenches for the campaign that is Easter!

Don't get me wrong, as a non-Religous person I can't see what shoving your face full of overpriced chocolate that would cost less in a bar than it is shaped as an egg with an enormous vacuous space in the middle, but that is made up for by the completely over the top packaging!

After Easter of course there's a bit of a lull before Father's Day. We dont really celebrate days such as St.Georges Day anymore, because it offends the multi cultural society we live. Balls to that I say! I wouldn't instil my beliefs and ways into another country, and wouldn't be offended if they shut up shop because it was some religious holiday, so why should we?
