Wii Fit First Thoughts

What a laugh! Nothing made me and Emma laugh as much as when Catherine's Mii character expanded after being weighed and measured!

The package has more depth than I imagined, with lots to do, and serious exercise also. The fun games kept Emma interested, and she was in some cases better than Catherine!

Ever Wondered What Was Under That Plastic Bumper

Today I managed to get across to where my car is being repaired to take some photo's of the damage, even with the bumper off it's still lacking in any dramatic "wow" factor in terms of damage!

That said here they are in all there glory, boy it's dusty in there!

Mondeo Update

Might get the car back end of next week, but I won't hold my breath as they are still waiting for some parts!

I am going to go down tomorrow morning and take some pictures of the damgage now that the bumper is of the car, I will post them on here soon after :-)

Sod's law says that Ford would contact me about the dashboard issue when I haven't got access to the car :-( It would have been so nice to have some idea of what mileage was on the car!

Wii Fit is here!

Just got off the phone to her indoors, the Wii Fit package is at home!!

There are 3 people in the office who also bought it today, Nintendo must be rubbing their hands together!

Wii Fit is on it's way...

I've had an email to say that my copy of Wii Fit is on it's way to me, so I might even get it before Friday!

Watch this space for my informal review

What A Week

To say the last week hasn't been eventful would be a joke!

I have had Catherine's parents staying at our house, as they are over for her sister's daughters baptism, which we are not going to.

So Thursday we decide to visit Sidmouth, and we are held up tons at home, then traffic in Bristol. Then it took ages to fill up with diesel in the petrol station, and then finally we are on the way....

Well at least we all thought so!

On the A369 just outside Gordano some muppet decides to make a last  minute right turn, and he needs to stop for traffic. The car behind him has to take evasive action to stop, and likewise for me. With all the technology in my new car it appeared that the car just slid into the back of the other, there was no grip on the road. The tyres are almost new, it has ABS and ESP so it should have stopped! Why did the airbag go off? Well it's because I hit a sensor on the front chassis, christ it stinks, and shocked more than the impact.

The main thing is that everyone was alright, both in my car and the other.

The damage to my car is £4000, which is quite surprising given the little damage shown in the pics. The garage have some internal pictures, I will try and obtain them and post them here.

They did telephone me to ask if the mileage was correct, as it had 64200 on the clock! You have to laugh don't you?

Apres Le Visite

Well I went to the Ford main dealers yesterday, only to find out it appears this issue is known to Ford.

But they don't know how to fix it at the moment! So they took some versions etc from my car and asked the dealer to tell me they'd be back in contact!

It was stressed though that it was not the instrument cluster panel, it was more likely to be a software fault. I wonder if Microsoft were asked to help out on that side of things!

Anyway, still got 63,000 plus miles on the clock, and still have no idea of my true mileage! Oh and to top it all, i still feel ill!
